Testing to see if this went into tumblr too

Using tumblr.

I wasn't really much of a fan of tumblr, from trying it out before and not able to understand what it can do.

But with my trade marketing work at The Filipino Channel, I gave it a try as I needed a non-Blogger (and definitely non-Wordpress, which I don't really like at all!) blog to host content that I was RSS-feeding through our mailchimp mailing list.

So far, somewhat okay.

I still very much prefer Blogger because it's by far, easily the easiest blog platform in the world. But it seems to have a weak reputation among brands that use a blog platform.

tumblr is easy to use, as I found out, but I haven't quite explored it because I'm still much more comfortable with using Blogger when it comes to HTML and creating pages, etc.

One Kapamilya Go

This is the 6th One Kapamilya Go I've had any involvement with. Though I'm not the fit market for this event, working it is really fun. Team TFC Events is a fun bunch.

Since the beginning, I've had some of the best learning experience in planning and operating an event under the direction of very dedicated leaders. From being a part of the event conception group to helping with the production, and learning how to move through in the logistics process, I can say that in the end, I hate dealing with contracts! Everything else is fun, and a pain in the head, but have no other qualms about doing this.

Overlays

I never use it, but I just don't get the magic about using overlays in photos. Or maybe, the ones I've seen, look so fake.

More color coding

I've posted one of these before. I enjoy tedious work as long as I'm without a headache and not one of the last people to leave the office.

When you love what you do, you work till it hurts.

I can easily apply that to motherhood, obviously. I apply it to photography, when I'm working photography. I definitely apply it to music, been there done it.

Apparently, I also do it for my day job. Last 3 weeks have been paining my head, stressing out my neck kind of thing. For the last couple of months, I've been busied up preparing for an event. Booking, coordinating, almost everything. I definitely don't mind the load, but let me be the one to say it, it's not easy. I am looking quite forward to the success of this event, and then, there's another event right after that.

On a serious note, though, I am seeing a doctor about these ongoing headaches. I can not tell if it's stress or a building problem that's going to knock me down.

I've been working a job since I was 18, and never took a break from working. Except one semester in college so I could focus on a full load of units. (There was no break there). If I could, just for a month, not do any work at all, I'd welcome the opportunity.

Urban and Nature Photos

I've had this 500px account for a while now but didn't know what do with it, since I already use Flickr, Snapfish, Photobucket, Smugmug, etc.

I like to give a purpose to all things I do, so all the urban, nature, fine art, still life and scape photography I do will be shared here: Be a friend at 500px!

As usual, my photography work portfolio (for paid opportunities) is at www.panfocusstudios.com, and also add my Facebook page for all things photography. I don't utilize the Facebook page to its capabilities but it's where I mostly share any photo I feel like sharing. It's nothing I don't already do on my personal Facebook page, though.
